Fall/Winter Blush Picks!

Hi guys! Today, I will be talking about my favorite blushes for fall and winter. I thought I would take a break from all the stress of finals, relax and talk about makeup! YaY! I have picked out six blushes that I am loving right now and they range from super expensive to very affordable. All the shades are very plumy so they are perfect for this season.

First two blushes are by NARS and they are my absolute favorite. I know these blushes are a little pricey at $27 but they will last you a very long time!

Lovejoy
Bronzed rosey color with a little bit of shimmer like "Orgasm." This would be perfect to use as a contour. I love this blush because the shimmers create a highlighting effect which means you can skip the extra stop of putting on a highlighter.

Dolce Vita
Muted rosey color. It is matte and very pigmented so you have to be very careful when applying it.

These next two are a little more affordable. They are MAC blushes and they have a ton of colors and finishes to choose from! The two I'm listing are powder blushes and cost $19.50.

Ambering Rose
One of my favorite blushes. It is a sheertone blush and the color might scare you but it is so pretty! It is a brick red color with some brown undertones. You have to give it a try when you are at the MAC store.

Fever
It looks very similar to "Ambering Rose" but, trust me, it is not. It is a reddish burgundy matte color.

The last two are from Revlon. I believe that Revlon has the best blushes and they are very comparable to some of the more expensive brands. They are very pigmented and have wide range of colors. The prices vary depending on where you buy them from but they are typically around $7-10.

Berry Flirtatious
This is a little different from all the other ones I have listed because this is a cream blush. This gives you the perfect flush of color on your cheeks. It is a pretty berry, plum color.

Tender Plum
The perfect plum color and I love the name. It is a matte, powder blush and it is so very pigmented.

I hope you guys will try out some of these blushes. Thank you so much for reading this. Good luck on finals! Stay warm, cozy and always remember to Stay Beautiful! xoxox

Underrated Makeup Product:- Kat Von D Eyeshadows

Hi loves! I am so happy that I finally got to take the time out to post this. Let me just tell you, blogging is such a stress reliever for me. I have been so busy with work, school, and finals that I don't really get anytime to relax. Even when I'm just lounging around, I'm still thinkng about school! AHHHH!! I am so glad that I am taking a break from all of that for a couple of minutes to blog! YaY! Anyways, today I wanted to talk about the most underrated makeup product, in my opinion, and that is Kat Von D eyeshadows. Now, we all know about Kat Von D's Tattoo Concealer. It is the most raved about product in the makeup world. However, we forget that the Kat Von D line also has eyeshadows, lipsticks, setting sprays, and a whole bunch of other products! It is finally time for you guys to try out all the other products in her line and, I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed!

I was in Sephora back in September looking for the Naked Palette when I stumbled across the Kat Von D display. Obviously, I was immediately drawn to the Tattoo Concealer but I decided not to buy it. Instead, I swatched one of her eyeshadow palettes and I was in love. It was love at first swatch! I tested the True Romance Palette in Saint and, oh my gosh, these colors are beautiful! If you read the reviews on Sephora.com, some people compare this to the Naked Palette because it is a neutral palette and others actually prefer this over the Naked Palette. Let me tell you more about why I personally love this palette. First of all, this is the perfect neutral palette. It has browns, golds, nudes, in matte and pearly finishes. Second of all, the texture of the shadows are amazing. They are silky, velvetly, creamy and just wow! I am having a difficult time describing this for you. If you have the palette, you know what I mean. If you don't have it, please go to Sephora and try it out. Ok! Lastly, I honestly prefer these eyeshadows over Urban Decay and MAC. The only negative thing I can say is that you can't buy these shadows individually. You have to buy the palettes but I still think it's worth it.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty and discuss the details of this palette. Saint is one of the eight palettes in the True Romance line. It is the only true neutral palette. All the other ones have at least one or two bright colors. The palette has eight eye shadows and an eyeliner and costs $35. The eyeliner, Puro Amor, is a super black kohl liner. It's creamy and very similar to UD 24/7 liner in Zero. Here is a picture and description of all the shadows:-
Shadows (in order they appear in the picture)
- Heavens (pearlized vanilla)
- Enjoy the Silence (pearlized butter-cream)
- Downtown (pearlized champagne)
- <3 (soft pink with sparkles) My Fave!
- Sunny (pearlized gold)
- Pray for me (pearlized taupe)
- Bookworm (pearlized brown)
- Caravaggio (dark matte brown)

Ok, I am finally done raving about this product and now you can all go buy it! Hehehe. Thank you so much for reading this! I do have a little announcement. I did start my beauty channel on youtube about a week ago but I am not quite comfortable enough to share the link with you guys just yet. Some of my friends have actually seen it and they like it so I am happy about that. Hopefully, I will put up a link to my channel soon. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Good luck on finals! Love you guys! Stay Beautiful! xoxox

Best Highlighters!

Hi loves!! I am back with another post and this time I will be talking about Highlighters. For the past couple of weeks, I have been obsessed with them and today I will be listing my favorite ones. For those of you who don't know, highlighters are the best way to make your skin look glowing, healthy and awake. When paired with a contour, it helps slim down your face and make your cheekbones POP! I personally think they are an essential part of every girl's makeup collection and the ones I will be listing are universally flattering so, if you have sisters or friends, you can always share with them!
When I was first on the hunt for highlighters, I searched every drugstore and I realized that not many companies make highlighters. The only two companies that actually make them are Physicians Formula and ELF and that was very disappointing. However, MAC and Sephora have plenty of highlighters to choose from. To make your lives a lot easier, here is a list of highlighters you guys might want to try out:-

The best type of highligther is a liquid one because it leaves your skin looking dewy. My three favorite ones are:-

ELF Shimmering Facial Whip
This is a great drugstore highlighter. Very comparable to Benefit HighBeam. Leaves skin looking dewy with very little shimmer. Only costs $1

Benefit HighBeam
Everyone seems to love this and so do I. It has a pearly finish and it is one of Benefit's best selling products. If you don't want to spend so much money, I would recommend buying the ELF one instead.
Costs $26

Benefit MoonBeam
Same exact thing as HighBeam. The only difference it that this has a golden tint. This is great for women with darker skintones.
Costs $26

If you are not a liquid kind of girl then this next one is perfect for you:-

MAC Cream Color Base in "Pearl"
This shade is universally flattering. Think of it as a cream version of the eyeshadow "Ricepaper." It looks really pretty on the skin but does not last very long. It fades away after a couple of hours.
Costs $17.50

If you hate both liquid and cream, well then you are just being a brat! But I still love you enough to give you some powder options, preencess, and here they are:-

NARS Highlighter "Albatross"
This is by far the most beautiful powder highlighter I have ever seen. In the pot, it looks like a plain beige powder. However, if you swatch it, you see tiny little golden shimmers which leaves the skin looking beautiful! You can use this as an eyeshadow too!
Costs $27

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick
This is a very versatile product. You can use it as a blush, highlighter, and/or five different eyeshadows! It is on the pricier side but I do think it is worth the money. It comes it a variety of shades to fit everyones needs.
Costs $39

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Maybe you can add some of these to your Christmas wishlist! Remember, highlighters are supposed to look really subtle. You might not notice it at first but someone else definitely will. It shows up beautifully in flash photography and in natural lighting. Anyways, thanks so much for reading this. Good luck on finals, everyone! Remember to always Stay Beautiful! xoxox

Favorite Fall Nail Colors!

Hi loves! I am back with my favorite fall nail colors for you guys! I am a nail polish addict! I didn't wear nail polish all summer but now that it's getting colder, I want to spice up my outfits with some FABULOUS nail colors. So if you are a nail polish addict like me, then please keep reading!

Before we even talk about colors, let's start with the basics and talk about our nails. I was blessed with strong nails so let me share my tips on how I take care of them. First of all, I do not clip my nails anymore. I learned that my nails tended to be a lot more brittle after I clipped them. Now I just file my nails often to maintain the length and shape I want. Secondly, I do not cut off my cuticles. I am not a professional so I do not want to risk getting an infection and that is why I push back my cuticles every other day. Last, but not least, I always finish off by buffing and shining my nails so they look clean and manicured even without a polish.

Speaking of polish, if you want your nail polish to last, you need a good base and top coat. My favorite are the Seche Clear Base Coat and the Seche Vite Top Coat. I love the base coat because it lasts for weeks and the top coat does not chip. You do have to be careful with the top coat though because sometimes you get air bubbles but other than that I have no complaints. You can get these at your local drugstore for $6-$8.
Ok, now on to my favorite colors for this fall. I have been loving nudes and deep, dark colors for fall and here are some of my favorite ones:-

Brooch The Subject
It is the PERFECT nude for all the darker skinned ladies. It has a very neutral beige undertone and I absolutely love it.

                 Mambo
Another very pretty nude. Extremely comparable to Brooch the Subject but has a pearly finish.

Berry Naughty
A deep plum shade, perfect for fall.

Midnight Cami
This is a shimmery midnight blue. Such a pretty color! I painted my mommy's nails with this and she loved it.

Golden Nuggets
The perfect gold nail polish for the holiday season. This color reminds me of Christmas for some reason.

A great way to spice up these colors is to put on a coat of glitter polish. You can't celebrate the holidays without a little bit of glitter! If you are too scared to rock some glittery makeup, then glitter polishes are perfect for you. These two are my favorite ones:-

Sally Hansen's Strobe Light
Clear polish with small pieces of multicolored glitter.

OPI by Sephora's Don't be Eggnog-ious
A copper nail polish with big and small chunks of copper glitter. I absolutely love this for the holiday season! The name just screams Christmas!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what colors you are absolutely loving this season. Have a great Thanksgiving and dont forget to pig out. Always remember to Stay Beautiful even if you have a turkey leg hanging out of your mouth! xoxox

Current Must-Have:- NARS Damari Palette!

Hi ladies, today I would like to tell you about a new product that will make all NARS lovers go crazy! I am talking about the NARS Danmari All About Cheeks Palette. It is the first blush palette by NARS and it is an absolute must-have! If you are a blush lover, you need this palette in your collection. I have three NARS blushes and I absolutely love them. I have Orgasm, Lovejoy and Miss Liberty, which is from their new winter collection. However, I don't wear blushes too often so I chose not to buy this particular palette. Anyways, let's discuss what this palette consists of. It comes with six blushes that are a little smaller than the regular NARS blushes but, for $65, you definitely get your moneys worth.
The blushes are:-

     * Hungry Heart:- A gold ivory color that is perfect as a highlighter.

     * Super Orgasm:- A peachy pink color with gold glitter

     * Desire:- A cotton candy pink. Reminds me of something Nicki Minaj would wear hehe.

     * Casino:- A dark brown with gold shimmer. It's very comparable to NARS Laguna.

*Orgasm:- The most popular blush by NARS. It's a peachy pink with gold shimmer and if you wear this, you definitely will not need a highlighter. It gives you a very pretty glow.

     * Sin:- A berry color with gold shimmer perfect for the holiday season.

This is perfect for someone who travels a lot because it has blushes, bronzer, and highlight all in one little palette and this would be a great holiday gift for your bestfriend or girlfriend *hint hint boo* lol. According to a Sephora sales associate, this will be in stores for one or two months depending on how many they have in stock so I would suggest purchasing them as soon as possible. Go check it out at your local Sephora and remember to always Stay Beautiful! xoxoxox

Product Smackdown!

Hi lovies! I am back with a product smackdown and today I will be comparing YSL's Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm and Clinique's Chubby Sticks. I personally hate wearing lipsticks. I love collecting them but I feel like lipsticks make my lips look weird. My favorite lip product of all time has to be tinted lip balms. My lips tend to get chapped really easily and lipsticks don't really moisturize them so I am always carrying lip balms in my bag. If I'm going out, I like to put on a tinted lip balm and my favorite drugstore one is by Burt's Bees. However, drugstore ones never have a good range of colors thats why I decided to try some from Sephora.

Let's start off with Clinique's Chubby Sticks. These come in 8 different colors and what I love about them is the packaging. They look like pencils but you don't need to sharpen them, you just need to twist the bottom and you'll get more product. The color I have is Graped up and it's a sheer plum color. I definitely picked the wrong color because it makes my lips look brown. Anyways, here are the pros and cons:-

Pros
- 8 colors available
- Vibrant Colors
- $15
Cons
- Definely not very moisturizing

The next product is my favorite! I am talking about YSL's Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm. This is my first YSL product and I love it so much. This comes in 6 different colors, all super pretty, and I love the sleek packaging. I have it in the color Succulent Pomegranate. It's a sheer bright pink which makes my lips look delicious! Here are the pros and cons:-

Pros
- 6 colors available
- Pretty packaging
- Smells like candy
- Incredibly glossy and moisturizing
Cons
- $30

Makeup products work differently for everyone. One of my friends loves her Chubby Stick and she actually recommended it to me but it didn't really do much for my lips. I think I'll just stick to my YSL one and I may even buy another color. I know $30 is A LOT for a lip balm but the holidays are coming up and you can always put this on your wishlist. Anyways, thank you for reading this and Stay Beautiful! xoxoxox

Killer Heels!

Hello my fellow shoe lovers, today's post is all about shoes! I am obsessed with heels so I thought I would dedicate a post to them. This fall I have really been gravitating towards anything with spikes. I always try to dress very cute and girly but this fall I want to be a little more BADASS. The best way to do that is by accessorizing your girly dress with some killer heels. I am going to be showing you a couple of heels that I personally don't own (yet) but would love to add to my collection. So if you are a shoe freak like me, keep reading!

The first pair I want to talk about are the Spiked Bow Peep-Toe Slingbacks from Charlotte Russe. I personally don't like buying shoes from Charlotte Russe because I really don't think they are very comfortable but I do love these. These things are like weapons! If a guy is bothering you at the club, you know where to kick him with these babies! They come in three colors, tan, red and black, and are priced at $42.50. However, Charlotte Russe is currently having a buy one get one for $15.50 deal on all shoes so get you credit cards out and go buy these!

The next pair is one of my favs and I have been wanting them for a while now but my mom will yell at me if I buy them. These are from Wild Pair which is actually owned by Bakers. These shoes are super high but the chunky heels make them really comfortable to walk around in. They will definitely sexify a cute summery dress.  I know they don't have any spikes but the studs still look hot. They are called Glisten WP and are currently on sale for $109. They only come in this nude color which is the perfect color for elongating your legs if you are short like me.

The last two pairs I am going to show you are from a website called Karmaloop. I personally think they have the best collection of jewelry, shoes and dresses. If you like to stand out from the crowd a little and not look like you just stepped out of a Forever21 catalogue than this website is for you. Everything is a little bit pricey but the quality is definitely great. Ok, now on to the shoes! The first pair are these really cute wedges by Zigi Shoes. I personally do not like wearing wedges because I have twisted my ankles in them plenty of times and still managed to look fabulous while limping down the streets of NYC. But if wedges are your thang than you will love these. These remind me of a pair of Steve Madden shoes that came out during the spring but the spikes just spice them up a little bit. They are called the Nevada Shoes and they come in black and red suede and are priced at $230.

The last and final pair are these GORGEOUS Sam Edelman pumps! I love Sam Edelman's designs! He designed a pair that was similar to these pumps but they wear hot pink and peep-toes and they were so beautiful! I regret not buying them because they would've lookd amazing paired up with a little black dress. These pumps are called The Roza Shoes and come in black, Ruby red, and leopard print. They are priced at $225 and I think they are worth every penny!

Ok loves, I really hope you guys enjoyed this post. I was going to include some Louboutins but that would make me sad because I can't afford them yet. Anyways, the links to all these shoes are posted below so be sure to check them out. Have a safe and happy Halloween and Stay Beautiful!! xoxoxox

Product Review!

Hello loves! I know it has been a while since you have heard from me but I have been really busy this month with work and school. However, I did have time to go to Sephora a few times this month and pick up the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. Before I talk about this particular product, let's first talk about primers. I never thought I needed a primer until realized how big my pores are! So I went Sephora and picked up the Smashbox Photofinish Light Primer a couple of months ago and, at first, I loved it. It made me look flawless and made my foundation last all day. However, after using it for a couple of days, I noticed little bumps on my cheekbones. Even though I bought the oil-free one, it still irritated my skin so I decided to stop using it. So if anyone wants to ry it out, come to my house and I'll give it to you. It definitley got a lot of good reviews so maybe it will work for others but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with acne prone skin.

Recently, while I was at Sephora, I decided to pick up the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. Let me list the pros and cons for you because I am too lazy to write another paragraph.

Pros:-
 - It has a velvety smooth texture
 - Makes skin look radiant
 - Fills in pores and fine lines
 - Does not cause any breakouts

Cons:-
 - Costs $52

I really don't have anything bad to say about this product. The price is ridiculous BUT I think its worth it and every makeup junkie should have this in their collection. I wore this under my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and I seriously looked flawless. If $52 is way out of your price range then pick up the mini one for only $11. Anyways, I hope you guys try this product out. Happy Halloween, stay safe and always Stay Beautiful! xoxoxox

Holy Grail Products!

Hi guys! Guess what?! I'm sick! I have a fever and my whole body hurts but I still love you guys enough to post something. This post is for all the girls out there who do not have perfect skin. If you have acne scars, blemishes and discoloration, then please keep reading. If you have perfect skin, then please STOP reading and go away! I do not like you! Just kidding! No seriously though, I don't like you. =P Anyways, I wanted to talk to you guys about my two Holy Grail Products. I have been searching for the perfect foundation and the perfect concealer for a while now and I finally found them!

Let's start with the concealer. I stopped by Sephora a couple of weeks ago and picked up the Makeup Forever Full cover concealer and it is AH-MAZING! I use shade #12 and it matches my skin perfectly. It is a full cover concealer so a little goes a long way. I use it to cover my acne scars and my under eye circles. I have wrinkles under my eyes and this is the only concealer I have found that doesn't settle into them. I love this product because it is waterproof and once you let it dry, it does not budge. I personally think it is a lot better than the Kat Von D tattoo concealer because it lasts all day and you get a lot more product. It is a little pricey, $30 for a small squeezy tube but it will definitely  last you a really long time. If you are looking for a good concealer and wouldn't mind spending a little more money then I would suggest picking this up. You will love it!

Let's face it, it is really difficult to find a good foundation. I tend to stay away from drugstore foundations because I can never find one that perfectly matches my skin tone. I don't know what it is with drugstore foundations but most of them make me break out. I have tried a lot of them and I kind of like Revlon Colorstay and L'oreal True Match. L'oreal is a good everyday foundation but it doesn't last all day even if you set it with a powder. Revlon Colorstay lasts for up to 10hrs but in pictures, it is obvious you are wearing foundation. The sunscreen in the foundation makes you look like you have a white mask on =[. I also tried MAC Pro longwear and that shit broke me out like crazy! Excuse my language but it was really bad! My skin is still recovering from that. I don't think I will ever use a MAC foundation again.

Recently, I picked up Illamasqua's Rich Liquid foundation and I am loving it. If you want doll-like porcelain skin than this foundation is for you. It is a full coverage foundation and a little really does go a long way. If you put too much on, you will end up looking like a cakey mess. It comes in a squeeze bottle which makes it a lot easier to control the amount of foundation you want. It makes my skin look amazing and it is the only foundation that hasn't broken me out. It does not oxidize and does not have any SPF so it looks flawless in pictures. I love the fact that it doesn't transfer onto clothes so I can finally lay my head on someone's shoulder and not have to worry about staining their shirt! If you have dry skin, you need to moisturize before using this foundation because it does enhance dry patches. The best part about this foundation is that it lasts all day. I wore this last friday for 17hrs and my face looked just as perfect at 10pm as it did at 5am when I first applied it. This is definitely going to be the foundation I wear on my wedding day lol. The foundation is $34 but I think it's worth it so go out to Sephora, get a sample and try it for yourself.

I do hope you guys try out these products because they are really good and worth the money. I will start posting up more stuff for you guys to read. I am going to be doing a couple of more reviews and maybe even start filming some videos. Thank you for taking the time out to read my posts. Take care guys, stay warm, drink a lot of orange juice and stay away from sick people! Don't forget to always Stay Beautiful! xoxoxox

All About Hair!

Hey guys! It's such a cloudy and gloomy day outside so I decided to post something for you guys to read while you are bored. I am so thoughtful =]. Haha. Today's topic is all about hair, my hair to be exact! I get tons of compliments on my hair all the time and as much as I would like to take credit for it, I can't! All the credit goes to my dad for giving me amazing genes and my mom for taking care of my hair.

When I was younger, my mom was obsessed with my hair! She always put coconut oil in it and even to this day she does that. Coconut oil is so good for your hair. I put it in my hair once or twice a week and let it soak in overnight. The next day, after I wash my hair, it feels soft, silky and looks amazingly shiny. Coconut oil is one thing but imagine walking around all day smelling like raw eggs. Yes ladies, my mommy used to put raw eggs in my hair. Yuck! But after researching the benefits of using eggs in your hair, I want to start doing it again! Eggs are full of protein and the protein helps make the hair follicle stronger which leads to fewer split ends. It also makes hair smoother and that makes it a lot easier to comb your hair because you have less tangles. Another weird thing my mommy used to put in my hair was mayonnaise. It's good in sandwiches and apparently also in hair. Who knew?! Mayonnaise is great as a leave in conditioner, especially for color treated hair, because it adds shine and luster to dry hair. And yes ladies, you can use Hellman's Mayonnaise after you put it in your delicious Turkey sandwich! Lol ok that was a little gross. Sorry! Now look at those cute litle pigtails and unibrow!

Nowadays, I really don't have that much time to put eggs and mayonnaise in my hair. So I will tell you what I do to keep my hair looking pretty decent. Everyone tells you to shampoo your hair twice or three times a week, no more than that. Why? Because shampooing everyday removes all the natural oils out of your hair. Well I shampoo and condition every single day because if I don't, I feel really dirty. Listen, if shower everyday because your body gets dirty, then you should wash your hair too. That's just my opinion. I use Tresemme shampoo and whatever condidtioner that's in my bathroom. I can't use Pantene, L'oreal, Dove, Herbal Essences or Garnier Fructis because they make my hair fall out. So I have been using Tresemme for the past two years because it works so well for me. I love Tresemme's 24hr Body shampoo because it makes my hair look voluminous and shiny all day.

We are young and we love to experiment with our hair but me, ehhhh not so much. Curling, straightening, blow drying and coloring is a big NO! I like to keep my hair as natural as possible. I shower every night, comb my hair and let it air dry. I blow dry and straighten my hair maybe 3 or 4 times a year. When I do, I like to use Tresemme's Heat Tamer spray because not only does it smell amazing but also helps protect my hair from the heat. I don't like putting any hair products in my hair. Sometimes I have to put hairspray or mousse, especially if I'm going to a wedding and I want to style my hair a certain way, but I prefer leaving it completely natural on an everyday basis. As for curling, curling irons don't work on my hair. Don't ask me why because I have no idea. I tried curling my hair plenty of times and it never works so I just gave up. I have always wanted to color my hair but I am afraid of ruining the texture of my hair so I have never done it. I am a color virgin LOL. As for cutting, I cut my hair whenever I feel like it. I don't do much except trim it and add a few layers. So, as you can tell, I am not very adventurous with my hair. I like to stay on the safe side because one of my biggest fears is being bald when I am older!

I would like to thank everyone who think my hair is pretty. It really means a lot to me because my hair is my prized possession. So, Thank you! This post is completely based on my opinion so I don't expect you guys to agree with any of this. I just thought I would share what works for me. Thank you for taking the time to read this and remember, always Stay Beautiful! xoxoxox

Current Favorite Makeup Products!

Hi loves! I had been dying to post new topics for the past couple of days but my laptop was, and still is, being sooooooo mean to me! It randomly shuts down, makes weird noises and ugh I need a new one. I'm hoping my dad gets me the MacBook Pro. Once I get that, I can finally start posting up makeup videos on youtube! YaY! Until then, let's chat about my current favs.

For the past couple of days, the weather has been so gross and humid. It's sticky and rainy and I feel too yucky to even put on makeup because it feels so heavy and so...Ewww. However, when I go to school or go out, I have to have a little bit of makeup on because I'm one of those people that need makeup to look pretty =[. So I have been using a couple of products that are amazing for this type of weather.

Let's start with eyes because I think that's my best feature. I know I'm tooting my own horn. Hush! I'm allowed to do it once in a while =P. Anyways, I love to rim my eyes with eyeliner and my favorite one is Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner in Blackest Black. It is smudge proof and waterproof and lasts all day, even when I rub my eyes! To make my eyes stand out even more, I picked up a GORGEOUS eyeshadow from MAC called Paradisco. It's a beautiful frosty peachy pink shadow that's perfect for the lids or just the inner corners. It looks very natural and I think it is perfect for fall so I am definitley going to be rocking it all season!

My skin was so bad during the summer. I had so many breakouts and discoloration and I always had to wear foundation. Thankfully though it did clear up and now I'm just dealing with a few scars. So instead of caking on foundation, I am loving my MakeUp ForEver Full cover concealer. I think I found my Holy Grail concealer. It is extremely creamy but feels lightweight and blends in perfectly. I have a lot of creases under my eyes and all the other concealers I have tried always settled into the creases and made me look weird. This one, however, does not settle into the creases, looks natural and once it dries, it does not budge. I have worn it on a rainy day and all my makeup washed off my face except for the concealer so yeah I love it! I use shade #12 and it matches so well, you can't even tell I'm wearing any makeup. It is a little pricey ($30) but I think it's worth it because a little goes a long way and I think this little squeezy tube will last me months!

The best way to look fresh and awake is with a little bit of blush. The one I' am loving right now, and recently discovered, is Victoria's Secret's blush in Fresh Love. It's a peach colored blush which looks really beautiful especially on darker skin tones. Pink blushes look clownish against my dark complexion so this is the perfect blush for me. I also love the fact that it is matte and sheer so it creates a really natural look. After applying blush, I like to slim down my chubby cheeks and for that I love to use N.Y.C. bronzer in Sunny. I love it because it's matte, looks natural and does not break me out. It is a dupe for MAC's Gingerly Blush and it's only $2.99 so I think everyone should try it out!

Now on to the lips! I am not a big fan of lipstick because I find that they dry out my lips so I love wearing lip balm on a daily basis. However, I have been searching for the perfect nude lipstick that is not only moisturizing but also looks good against my skin tone and I finally found it! Hallelujah! It is Victoria's Secret Perfect Lipstick in Wish, a cute nudish baby pink that looks irresistable! YUM! I want to take a bite every time I put it on my lips. I'm weird I know lol. It doesn't last too long on my lips but it feels like a lip balm so I don't mind reapplying it. If you love lipsticks, I suggest you check out VS. Their makeup line is surprisingly good and all their lipsticks and eyeshadows are very pigmented.

I hope you found this post helpful and maybe this will help you add a couple of new products to your makeup collection. Remember, the purpose of makeup is to enhance your natural beauty so don't cake it on and keep it as natural as possible. Thank you for taking the time out to read this post! Stay Beautiful! xoxoxox

Hello Makeup Lovers!

For my first post, I would like to introduce you guys to a very special makeup company called ELF cosmetics. I am sure many of you have heard about them especially if you watch makeup videos on youtube. But for those who are not familiar with this company, let me give you a brief overview.

ELF, which stands for Eyes, Lips, Face, is a NYC based brand which has now branched out to UK and Australia. They claim that their products are 100% cruelty free so they are PETA approved. YaY! The company has three different lines. They have the regular ELF line, the ELF Studio line, and the ELF Mineral Line. But the best thing about this brand is that they are super affordable! All the products in the regular line are $1. Everything in the Studio Line is $3 and up and everything in the Mineral line is $5 and up. Obviously, the palettes cost more but seriously guys it's dirt cheap! Aigh, enough about this company. Let's get down to the nitty gritty!

So I came across ELF at Target and to be honest at first I was kind of skeptical because I really didn't think a $1 eyeshadow would be good but boy was I wrong! I bought two eyeshadows and they were like the pans you get at MAC to fill up your palette. The ones I bought are called Golden Glow and Mocha. Golden Glow is such a beautiful gold color. Expremely pigmented, even without a primer, and it was my go-to color all summer. Mocha, on the other hand, will look a lot better on someone whose eyelids are not as brown as mine lol. But it is a golden brown and is great color for the crease and outer corners and would also look amazing as an eyeliner. Just spritz an angled brush with a little MAC Fix+ or water and dip it in the eyeshadow and Voila, the perfect summer eyeliner.
Speaking of eyes, no eye makeup is perfect without a nice pair of lashes and ELF has them too for, you guessed it, $1!!!! These are my go-to everyday lashes because they look incredibly natural and they also flare out at the ends to give a beautiful flirty look. And for a $1, you can use them once and throw them away. I would not recommend using the glue that comes with the lashes so instead use LashGrip or Duo lash adhesive.
Now time for my two FAVORITE products! I know all of you are familiar with Benefit's High Beam highlighter and so many of you rave about it but for $26, it's eh a bit pricey. But fear not my little budget beauties, I have found a NEAR PERFECT dupe for this product and that is ELFs Shimmering Facial Whip. For $1, it's a great highlighter. It come in a little squeezy tube, perfect for travel. It is very comparable to High Beam. It gives the same beautiful glow and it is even better when mixed with liquid foundation. The only difference, besides the price, is that High Beam is a lot more liquidy than the Facial Whip and you tend to use more of it. I have seen it at Target in only 2 colors. The one I have and I recommend for everyone out there is Lilac Petal. It's a pretty pinkish gold color, perfect for all skin tones.

Last, but not least, my all time favorite product is from their Studio Line. It's the ELF Powder brush and let me tell you one thing, it is AH-MAZING!! I use mine with a liquid foundation and I get such a perfect finish. It is extremely comparable to Sigma's Flat Top Kabuki brush, although I do like this one better. Its densely packed and the bristles are so soft and helps create an airbrushed finish. And for only $3, I would pick this over my Sigma brush any day.

Ok guys, I recommend that you run out right now and try some ELF products and let me know what you think. You can find them at Target, Kmart. and of course www.eyelipsface.com. Wow, I completed my first post! YaY! I hope you guys liked it. I know I rambled a lot but eh that's how I am. Teeehhehehehe. Anyways, Stay Beautiful! Muah!
